For sure immersion is a bit iffy with this sudden change of face. To be fare to me this ep XY's face just looks like he giant a bit of weight and was a bit swollen from being bed written from the poison or what not. I mean the man did almost die from that poison last ep some swelling is expected even with Fairy doctor taking that poison out of him with a kiss seen on screen or not we all know what happened there. That being said its understandable that is a lot sudden out of no where.

LOL who even directs this garbage? They spend SO MUCH TIME on complete and UTTER garbage yet they NEVER show ANYTHING people are interested in. This series is truly the most garbage of the set of the Universe it shares with the other 3 shows.

It is the worst of all novels in series and they follow it. Should they change the story because people want something else.

In whole, this series is really unlucky. This one has good animation, but story is bad. WDQK has good story and trash animation which skips over the story and changes things for worse... like, Lin Dong in animation is absolute goody-two-shoes. The only luck is that best story in series (TGR) actually has good animation and follows the story well. Still, one out of three kind of sucks

LOL @ follow, what exactly are you watching? They BEEN changed BTTH story it DOES NOT directly follow the novel. Secondly, while I agree the animation in MU is not as good as BTTH, IT's BY FARRRRRRR WAY MORE INTERESTING. They perform actual MOVES and combat, they don't just run around charging up moves for 3-4 episodes and dash around creating breaks in the void with flashes of light, that's called complete thrash battle sequences. In this aspect MU is FAR BETTER than BTTH, I mean the fight alone with MC and old man in the Nirvana Realm is better than literally EVERY fight in BTTH, fight with MC and Lin LangTian is better than ANY fight BTTH has ever showed.

I agree with your comments on TGR, this series and MC is the cream of the crop. In either case both Lin Dong and Mu Chen are in every way shape and form better than Xiao Yan and his ENTIRE BTTH series.

True about not following novel, it follows manhua. Novel and manhua diverge at certain points and then come back together. Example is lack of pregnancy.

Animation in WDQK is trash because of pointless skipping and then mindlessly patching what they fucked up with random nonsense. So far, they skipped around 60% of chapters and even in the 40% that they did, they turned Lin Dong into goody-two-shoes. Take it like this, fashion model which is beautiful, but can't walk with grace and constantly stumbles... is still trash, no matter how beautiful. Or if I put it differently, with WDQK problem are not animators, problem are people working on direction and story boards

As I said and you failed to rebut, the animation of MU might not be as good as BTTH but their FIGHTS ARE INFINITELY better than ANYTHING in BTTH same with TGR which is by far the best of the 3 when it comes to fight choreography. Calling an animation thrash because it does not follow the source material is the mark of persons not intelligent enough to judge something on it's own merits. This non-sense excuse is used THROUGHOUT the industry by persons incapable of critiquing something they are bias towards based on pre conceived notions.

Let me spell it out for you so you can understand. THESE ARE DONGHUAS. They DO NOT EVER have to follow their source material. No one CARES about the comparisons between the novel or manhua when it comes to the animation, they are judged on THEIR OWN MERITS and BTTH is BY FAR the worst of the current 3 UNDENIABLY with SO MUCH more episodes, and complete thrash progress and MC development, complete garbage story with top notch animation. DPY can't be any worst than this, I hope.
